I enjoy your homepage, since there is such an abundance of crap on the internet and the media in General. Your page is a positive change of pace.
One comment/question. What I find most frustrating as an atheist is the constant misinformation spread in the media about the relation between religion and ethics. Somehow we're supposed to believe that once religious there is some kind of special insight to kindness and morality. Two examples: talk shows on CNN invite religious folk to talk about morality and no secular view is represented. Or: the Charlotte Observer has a bi-weekly section called Religion and Ethics, as if these topics are inherently connected. Cultural "truths" of this kind are really hurting the atheist cause. Do you see any ways of changing this kind of misconnection of religion? It seems to be a losing battle.

It is possible that the newspaper is contrasting the two, in an attempt to be fair to the nonreligious. However, the fact that you and I each see this connection indicates that, at minimum, it may be a poor choice of phrase.
