Hello Cliff;
I've been hearing a lot about a group of hucksters in El Cajon, CA. that have been conning the suckers out of bucks to finance their search for "Noahs' ark".. (Paid vacation in Istanbul??) Now I may be wrong, but it would seem to me that these guys should be searching for all the water that covered the Earth instead of a needle in a haystack.
Gen. 7:20 "And the waters prevailed fifteen cubits upward, and the mountains were covered". This means that the water was almost 30,000 ft. deep. (Mt. Everest = 29,028 ft.). Now a Boeing 747 flying at that altitude would be barely visible to the naked eye. As children in school, we are taught at a very early age all about the rain cycle, except for kids in Kansas and a few other places that teach superstition. We know that water is probably one of the most indestructible elements on this planet; It cannot be beat or burned away, nor does it "dry-up and go away", as I was taught in an Christian school. (Duh!)
Could it be that all this water fell off this planet when it was flat, before god huffed and puffed and inflated it to its' current shape? (Believe it or not, this explanation was given to me by and adult Christian....YES, REALLY!!!)
I would sure appreciate a LOGICAL explanation from the apologists who believe this as "truth".. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
I also have some questions as to why the "creator" had a belly-button..."He created man in his IMAGE".
Thanks Cliff for a real fun website...
Tom :o)

They will gladly pay to "prove" what they already think is true. This is not science.
Unfortunately for the earlier Noah's Ark expedition, the guy who had the only camera conveniently fell off a cliff -- with camera in hand. We are left with relying on the testimony of people who appear to have an agenda.
The big problem is in Israel. That nation cannot justify its existence unless the Genesis and Exodus tales are true. Thus, this government has been caught fudging the archaeological reports and financing expeditions to "prove" that these stories are historically accurate. This is the same thing the Noah's Ark people are doing.
