Christian Apologist: "How can there be atheists"
"Satan" (Matt): That's easy. There are Atheists because not everyone is gullible enough to fall for the silly mythology that is popular in our modern culture. Some of us realize that none of it is real and it is just a childish fairy tale that has been passed down from generation to generation and enforced through fear.
Christian Apologist: "Because to be an atheist you could not believe in anything..."
"Satan": Atheism-a disbelief in the existence of deity
That is the true definition of Atheism. As you can see, it says nothing about total disbelief in everything. Atheism is a very narrow scope of disbelief. It only applies to religion.
There are plenty of things I believe in. In fact, to list them all would take years. You see, I believe in the entire proven universe. That's a lot and hardly qualifies as nothing.
Christian Apologist: "and right there you are lying to yourself because you BELIEVE in the ordeal of ATHEISTIC thinking...."
"Satan": Right there was YOU lying about us. I know the real definition of Atheism. You should try looking in the dictionary more often. It comes in handy for thinking people.
But while we are on the subject of Atheistic thinking, let me show a little something about yourself. Let me ask you a question. How many gods do you believe in? What's that? Just one? What about the other thousands of gods and goddesses that have come before and after the invention of your bearded male deity called Yahweh? Why don't you believe in them? What about Odin? What about Athena? What about Allah? What about Krishna? To disbelieve in their existence makes you ... yes ... part Atheist. 99.9% as a matter of fact.
Christian Apologist: "That would mean that you do not believe in LIFE!!"
"Satan": As I said earlier, that was your misinformed and rather ignorant view of Atheism. Not mine. I believe in life as it can be proven, defined, dissected, analyzed and understood. There is a whole field devoted just to that. It's called biology. And, which is not surprising at all, most biologists are disbelievers. Why? Because they realize that a god is not needed for life.
Christian Apologist: "no wonder why you have no faith in GOD because YOU have absolutely NO FAITH in YOURSELF!!!!"
"Satan": LOL! I won't beat a dead horse. Your sad and obvious attempt at a straw man has been obliterated. But I do need to educate you just a little further. You obviously don't know what the word "faith" means.
faith -- strong belief without evidence
Notice it says WITHOUT evidence. I have more than enough evidence to prove to myself and others that I exist. Faith does not even come in to play in this situation.
