Hi Cliff,
Sincere condolances to you and all the Amercian people for the recent disasters in New York and Washington. This is the most shocking and unbelievable act of terror I have seen during my life time. The human tragedy here is almost too much to comprehend. My first reaction, as a rabid atheist, was to burn up in a rage against fundamentalism, but now I just feel numb, and not a little sick.
Rest assured that the thoughts of the Dutch, English, and I'm sure most of the civilised world are with you and the American people.
