An Enemy
That Does Not Think
Or Act Like We Do

[In a dispatch sent on September 11, 2001, Cliff Walker had written]: So, until our country renounces the Christian religion as the religion of the American people, members of rival religions will continue to retaliate against those whom they see as the enemies of their deity. |

Cliff, I agree with your above statement, absolutely, and with passion. I'm on your side. :-)
I lived and worked inside Saudi Arabia for a year. I must say, culture shock was a huge problem inside me at arrival there and long following. Muslim Arabs are a different breed of catty. Vietnam and Africa had no culture shock value inside them by comparison. We will soon be fighting an enemy that does not think or act as Western men do during their day-to-day activities. The Arab terrorist will soon feel the heat of our war machines but we shall also feel the destructive power from very sneaky and suicidal warriors.
If a man is not afraid to die, he remains calm, even in the face of his absolute death. Panic can destroy easily a possible western man's, soldier's, effort during the heat of, one on one, battle, so us facing their soldiers individually means they have and advantage while striking us at their chosen target, place and time. On a battle field we'll kick butt but in the back alley ways they will kick butt.
Now we must wait and watch this horror play itself out before us.
Regards,
krw
