Dear Cliff:
My wife and I live in Boise, Idaho, and we are very proud to be atheists. We will raise our unborn children to be atheists, and we love to gather with other fellow atheists. I just saw the address to your website on the American Atheists Newsletter (sent out via email), and I haven't even begun to break the tip of the iceberg yet!
We are members of the Idaho Atheists, and I noticed that Bret Blakeslee had written you twice about the group. We have been hanging out with the Idaho Atheists since about July 2001, but just became full-fledged members in March of this year. We are currently involved with producing a local atheist TV show to be aired on the Public Access Channel 11 station here in town.
We just want to compliment you on your endeavors, and we hope you are able to be self-sufficient soon!
Best wishes,
Barret & Nicole Waggoner

Ah, thank you!
As you probably know, I am somewhat critical of the entire concept of atheist groups, but everything I've heard about that Idaho group always causes me to have second thoughts about second-guessing what I once thought might have been second-class!
